How Does the Scholarship Fund Work?
The Board of Trustees makes awards of between $250 and $3,500 to selected applicants each year. Scholarship monies may be used toward tuition, fees, materials, and other associated educational expenses (not living expenses).

Awards are paid directly to educational institutions on behalf of the recipients. Scholarship certificates are presented at the Annual Awards Dinner in June.

Applicant assessment is conducted each spring. The Board's Applicant Screening Committee conducts personal interviews with the top applicants and selections are made accordingly. The Board selects award recipients based on eligibility criteria.

For further information about the Fund and the application process, contact Keri Benscoter at (732) 271-7772 or visit us on the Internet at www.HendersonScholarship.org
